I certainly don’t want to pay higher gasoline and energy prices, and I know you don’t either. We all remember how record level gas prices strained our family budgets last summer.
Although much lower today, keeping gas prices affordable is more important than ever. Higher energy and gas prices lead to higher food costs, transportation costs, a weaker economy and an overall tightening of the family budget.
We need to take a stand against higher energy prices.
In the coming weeks, Congress will consider global warming policies that will impact energy costs and American jobs in significant ways. I thought you would be interested in some information about energy prices and how this legislation could affect our lives in the years ahead.
